total damages of $1B-$1.2B (after getting $ from all possible sources) could easily end up with $5+ PPS after all fees and costs

Let's put it this way: If WDDD succeeds against ATVI and subsequently succeeds against enough other infringers to have covered at least 75% of the applicable MMORPG space, then I would be supremely disappointed if the sp was only $5-$6.

But this is where distinguishing between long-term investing and placing speculative bets on a one-time catalyst may be useful, as different folks are in it for different reasons and guidance and targets and definitions of risks will vary greatly depending on your time horizon.

To get to the point where WDDD will have hopefully succeeded against other big players in the MMORPG space means that we are now looking out another 18-24 months at the earliest if ATVI takes this to trial. If, in the alternative, ATVI settles quickly after Markman, then the other dominos may fall within 6-12 months following ATVI.

Many folks here that I know are not prepared to invest long-term in WDDD at this time; rather, they are here to play the ATVI catalyst -- in particular the Markman. Assuming a favorable Markman, some will hold thru the trial while others will sell to go play in other more productive sandboxes while WDDD awaits trial to commence. And others yet are here strictly for the lucrative Markman and that's it.

So each investor/speculator/trader needs to identify their catalyst(s), identify the risks associated with having to hold for the time horizon necessary to see thru their catalyst(s), identify entry and exit points that will enable them to sleep at night, and then buckle up, sit tight, enjoy the festivities, and have the discipline to eject when their respective exit point hits.

I know you and many others here are well-grounded and have your bases properly covered and will emerge from this catalyst in great shape.
