I wonder if this forces a change in the way that naked shorts make timely delivery of their empty position to avoid Reg Sho requirements. I remember a similar effort years ago when a company forced outstanding shares to be delivered to the transfer agent and re-issue....it caused a huge short covering rally in the stock.
