gsiman, I realize you sold but in case you return to MINE--which I hope you will--I hope you see why Rule 144 does not apply to our earlier discussion. I was talking about Asher possibly converting early as there is nothing that would prevent Asher from doing an early conversion. Rule 144 in re of restricted securities is about "holding period" which you noted, so the rule is really about when and under what circumstances restricted securities can be SOLD.
Holding period on restricted securities has nothing do with early conversion of a note like Asher w/MINE. Conversion does not mean early selling of restricted shares by Asher.
Conversion and selling should not be confused.
