Sounds like Mr. Stead was trying to avoid a situation whereby something as simple as a lunch would be awkward since talk of the company would not be allowed. A slip of the tongue might be a release of insider info. Probably a smart move on Mr. Steads part unless your daughter was already an insider. Is that the case?
