OT:

The whole tenor of the articles and commentary are towards the idea that there is systemic fraud rampant in all of science, and I don't buy it.



Just to be clear, I'm not suggesting that the 50% value is fraud. I'm speaking only of reproducibility; that can be due to fraud, ignorance, or the fuzziness that clark refers to.
