We've been a fascist country way too long, there has always been a merger of corporate and state/national powers. With those powers wanting true controll. Why do you think it was mad illegal in the first place.........Greed, and corporatized governments! They want control not freedom! But when the flood gates open, anyone building a foundation in this industry now will be seeing true $$$$$$$'s in the future!

Major breakthroughs: 1920s-1930s

In the 1920s DuPont continued its emphasis on materials science, hiring Wallace Carothers to work on polymers in 1928. Carothers discovered neoprene, the first synthetic rubber; the first polyester superpolymer; and, in 1935, nylon. The discovery of Teflon followed a few years later. DuPont introduced phenothiazine as an insecticide in 1935.
