Why don't you state your position, rather than simply making personal attacks on the messenger, as is the common defense mechanism among the AMD cultists here?

My position is that comparing peak to peak is legitimate, and that you saying that "comparisons between AMD peak and Intel peak are misleading because you're really comparing AMD peak to Intel base" is bogus and furthermore implies that Intel peak is underrepresenting Intel's cpu SPEC peak performance.

Do you disagree with Intel's corporate direction? You think they should submit peak scores in spite of the fact that few developers create programs this way?

But they DO submit peak scores. Otherwise there would be no argument here.
