Newisys 1U Dual Opteron Server Preview

A handful of systems have gone to Fortune 500 companies. Alpha and beta servers have gone to Sandia Labs, Los Alamos, Fidelity, Goodyear, and other important potential customers. A total of about 500 early evaluation servers have been sent out to date, and roughly 1,000 of their Opteron servers are out in the wild in total.


P.S. Btw, I think Motorola will make a ton of money supplying PowerPC's as embedded processors for Newisys boxes
