studied economics at Instituto Teconológico y de Estudios Superiores de Monterrey (ITESM) and business at Universidad Anahuac while working at the Mexico branch of the San Francisco, California-based privately-held architectural firm Kaplan, McLaughlin, Diaz (KMD Architects) as project development executive. He then joined privately-held Hubard Engineering Services, a family- owned mechanical, electrical and plumbing contracting company, in the cost and auditing department and after fulfilling responsibilities in all the different areas of the company he was appointed general manager. He currently serves as CEO and has headed more than 85 construction projects in different sectors such as the commercial, industrial, residential, infrastructure, touristic and institutional. He also serves as a member of the board and CEO of privately-held Andamios y Servicios of Mexico City, a scaffolding and construction equipment rental and manufacturing company. He is a member of the board at privately-held Olazar Vacations Properties, a fractional ownership properties development company, and at privately-held Adley Developments, Inc. of San Antonio, Texas.
