I have never doubted Markgovols enthusiasm for DD, or his ability to be able to talk to folks at the JDA. What I am suprised is that he believes ANYTHING that they say to him. Markgovols (and his father) may be as honest as the day is long, but it doesn't prevent them from passing on less than truthful information from parties or persons that we don't know from the man in the moon. And in hindsight we see that there is ample evidence that the folks in that part of the world are not exactly the types that engender unflinching trust and devotion.

And what is wrong with an apology? Wouldn't you apologize for having been involved in passing disinformation, even though you were unaware of it's true nature?

And, by the way...I am not whacked ;^)
