Republicans have been blocking that repeal for awhile and now it would never pass the house. The house repealed it when it was dem but the Senate couldn't get it on the floor.

Like many things that pass the Senate and House many members have no clue what's really in the bill. Do you think the Senate wanted to pass a Protect Monsanto provision when voting on the Violence Against women's Act?
