Tax, Legalize Marijuana/Hemp to aid state finances!!!!!!
As the federal government isn't, and probably wont be to helpful in that.

Think back to fall of 2011......OPERATION TWIST. We rolled over all our 3year securities for the longer ten year notes! Thus creating a loop hole getting out of interest payments on trillions of dollars. That bought time....why do you think we still see a national prime rate of historic lows(0-.025%)! We've bought time, now we just need forward progression where ever we can get it :)!

Think of this too. The other week I was watching this bloomberg report on the booming shale revolution, and the prosperity it will bring for the U.S.. Possible leader in the opec, self dependant oil supply, cheaper national rates, jobs, ect., ect..

*******Then the interviewed person said the one single greatest thing from the shale revolution was, the amount of funds it can subsidise and the quickness in the ability it has to do that. When compared Marijuana/hemp will put funds to the states and coffers LIGHTNING quick!

With shale you get fracking which is not only quite bad for this earth, it is severely wasteful to water. Which IMO is man kinds greatest natural resource...get acquainted with aquifers, and fresh water sustainability with a population boom. China's 4-2-1 policy alone has and will add a substantial amount of people to the earth by 2024.

**********And when we think about taxes we to need to think about what each and ever one of us here is doing every day! Trading/investing in stocks!!!!!!!!!!! With marginal rates increased across the board this year on short term and long term gains, the feds have a huge advantage. Think........If we all plan on making $$$$$$'s off this sector, the feds will be receiving roughly 15-25% of all the total revenue from almost each and every individual! That alone in it's self would trump any types of revenues the feds could syphon out of the real physical markets. Especially if state by state there is different stipulations and those taxes are going to local governments.

Why not do what the Feb. 12 WMUR/UNH Survey Center poll revealed. It showed that, even with no discussion of the subject, 56 percent of those surveyed "approve the selling of marijuana at state liquor stores and taxing it at rates similar to how alcohol is taxed."

Think though, That poll was almost two months ago. The media and powers at be sure have done a great job at desensitising the masses towards the pertaining topics! I bet we've edged up in percentage wise since then!

Anyway long ramble I know, but opinionated I am :)! Best of Luck to All!

Take Care!
