Something happened at work this week that was so fun that I thought that it might be an idea that we could possibly add to this board... read on...

A bunch of us at work like to play MUSIC TRIVIA. Of course we're mostly all older than dirt so we like to wax nostalgic and discuss the classic oldies, but my idea doesn't have to be limited to just that category.

Here is my suggestion as to how we could have fun with this same concept during the week when there ain't no racin' goin' on!

Let's say that somebody posts a Song Title....

The challenge would be for us all to post the first five or ten words of the lyrics on this board.

The first "responder" would post only the first word of the lyrics and "if correct" would be awarded 1 point.

The second "responder" would post only the first 2 words of the lyrics and "if correct" would be awarded 2 points.

The third "responder" would post only the first 3 words of the lyrics and "if correct" would be awarded 3 points.

This could continue for the first five words of the lyrics or maybe even the first ten words of the lyrics, with the 5th word getting 5 points or the 10th word getting 10 points.

The points could then be either a separate contest on this board or perhaps could be added as Bonus Points to help people get points that really really might need them badly or "just to stay in the lead" ...

So, if anybody likes this idea, reply to this and I will be glad to be the first one to post a song title and NOT PLAY THIS TIME as a practice run to show how this would all work.
