GOOG's legal fees to postpone the inevitable are small interest payments. they would not buy this. MSFT might just to deny GOOG the patents and retake position with Bing, but again, not holding my breath.

Most likely outcome is receipt of large settlements from all three infringers 9GOOG, MSFT, ZTE) and those proceeds rolled into acquiring new IP to prosecute.
