Can't read too much into the short position. Been in the game so long that the formula doesn't add up. The "in the know" carries little weight. It's like institutional percentages. I'm sure you've seen over time that some heavy positions held by inst. have failed as well.

We need shorts to propel the upside when the results show extended life due to the Bavi influence.
