Andrew, the chart on that post is the stock chart, basically the price of the stock over the time period in the in the chart.

When they say the bid is stacked, it means that there are a lot of traders who have buy orders at the bid (sell price) hoping someone will sell to them. its a way to cheaply accumulate shares.

The abbreviation you mentioned MAXM is actually the nick name for a market maker, that's the guy who is the in between the buyers and sellers. If a company wanted to sell shares to raise funds it would be a market maker like MAXM that would sell those shares to the open market. There are only a couple of hand fulls of market makers, you will over time know who they are....
