Consider this, offering individuals the opportunity to sell games/movies to Gameznflix (gzfx). Gzfx, in return, could offer discounted memberships. The customer has an incentive to sell you their item at a lower rate and gzfx gains a subscribor and a larger inventory. Furthermore, retention of customers remains at a higher level when they are buying/renting from gzfx and then selling back only to buy a again, thus the cycle has more transactions which can equal more profit. Many brick and mortor companies do this in a profitable manner. However, I cannot find a single online rental company that has incorporated this practice.
