They would likely not send out a press release stating they've placed ## units for testing in the field. They would more likely do this on the Q3 conference call. The Q3 call should be interesting considering how the pipeline was touted. Even when they reset expectations on the Q2 CC, they stated that the sales cycle is 30 days at a minimum for the simple orders to much longer for other orders. I too would have thought we'd see the a handful of the simple orders materialize by now.

But for large orders, it could very well take time. Just the legal review and editing of contractual documents can sometimes take weeks, if not months, not to mention the field testing.

As for Freight forwarders: It's my understanding UPS, FEDEX, DHL in the US likely do not need a solution immediately. They were compliant in 2010 when the mandate to scan cargo placed on passenger planes originating in the US was enacted. The 2012 mandate is for cargo being flown to the US, so it's the international divisions and other companies that the 2012 mandate specifically target.
