Biz:I woud'nt be suprised if the Chinese cooked

this story up themselves for whatever perceived leverage it may bring in lowering royalty payments in the event the Chinese have to rely on Q CDMA.

These stupid stories and wacky events are sure proliferating lately.

Just like 1999-2001.

GodFather 3: "Just when I thought I was out..they pull me back in again".

Michael Corleone

I speaking of course of QCOM's seemingly unending uphill climb towards acceptance.

By the time there is world accepance of the technology, and the patent-royalty method of payment, the meaty part of the portfoilo will have expired.

We have already gone through one series of patent expirations,of which I am acromonious. I can't remember where a company, that has a patented technology, has to keep defending and fighting it's intelectual property like this.

And the same ol actors, like the "Schmoo" keep poping up witht he same ol fights.

"Vexacios Litagants"

Reminds me of Preston Tucker and his constant fights with the SEC, Detroit, and the mass media.

We all know what happened to Tucker.
