Kirby. One of the things the media has done I notice is trying to tell everyone what a short war this will be.

That is a crock of crap imo.

If they truly believe that they haven't done their homework.

Sadam has 7 look a likes. Has an extensive network of underground tunnels. Has been planning for this exact situation for a long time imo. One thing he isn't is dumb. Yes, he's made some dumb moves but he isn't dumb overall.

I think the medias game plan here is this.
75% of the media is anti war democrats who can't stand the idea of Bush in office imo.

When they noticed that war was going to happen no matter how many times they reported on the protestors out there.

When they saw their agenda collapse they came up with a new one.

That one is to tell everyone it will be short war.

That way when we are going into the 3rd week of non-stop media coverage and they proudly display the death counts like notches on a gun fighters belt except some of those notches are our boys they will try to incite people once again to turn against our government.

They will say I wonder what happened to the short war?
Guess what? No one told them it would be a short one but they said it enough times like Clinton did with certain things when he was in office and before you know it the sheep think it's true!

The agenda will be to destroy Bush no matter what the cost as our military looks on from the war field at a country divided instead of together behind them the way it should be during and after they come home.

Bush and others have already countered by trying to inform the people this is no small task no matter how great our military is. They are right.

Let me say this. Our government has made a lot of mistakes in my lifetime.
I'd put it this way about our government.
They are like most governments.
We got the best one money can buy!

Yet when it comes to the true cost of freedom I will stand by this government.

I will support our troops and our President no matter if it's politically correct or not.

9/11 showed what happens when you under estimate the hatred for the freedom you have.

Freedom. Crazy word. No such thing.
Freedom has never been free.
There is a cost for this way of life that few in this generation have a clue about anymore.

We could have sat back and waited for another 9/11 or do what we are doing today.

I thank God for a leader who had the decernment to say enough is enough!
