Let's for a moment say it is July 2001:

President Bush gets information that Al Qaeda is plotting an attack in the United States. With all the background information available to President Bush from former President Clinton, it is obvious that the United States must be proactive and put Al Qaeda out of business.

Knowing that the Taliban is protecting Al Qaeda, President Bush requests the Taliban to evict Al Qaeda from Afghanistan otherwise he will attack Afghanistan. The world gets upset and thinks President Bush should bring this up with the UN, after all, what has Afghanistan done to the United States?

If Bush attacks, and there is no attack on the World Trade Center: The whiners will have a fit "he is a war monger and killed all those people and bombed Afghanistan into the dark ages for no reason"

If Bush attacks and the WTC is still destroyed by Al Qaeda: The whiners will have a fit "he brought this on us by attacking those poor innocent people."

President Bush isn't going to win with all the WHINERS that are always looking for someone else to blame.

WHINERS: The hunt for someone to blame:

Blame Bush for the economy doing bad "he is giving to the rich"
Blame Bush for the economy doing good "he is just the corporate fat cats taking from the poor"
