from a business perspective, and knowing that a lab test costs atleast $50, I still believe no more than .5% of cannabis users will make atleast the complicated stuff like soda, gum, salves, and such. Yes people will always cook pot brownies, maybe get adventurous once and make pot ice cream, like people brew their own beer.
I would much rather grab a Dixie soda, pack of gum, and Ice cream from 7/11 and enjoy, than make a mess in my kitchen, take a couple days to make, go to lab for a test, and trust my own soda, ice cream, or chocolate making skills. All of this would be nearly impossible if you have kids in the house, you are elderly, or in general you dont have hours a day to devote to making your mmj products.
