We could go back and forth on this all day, and I really don't have time to provide work flow lessons, HL7 discussions and CCD definitions.
What I can tell you is the wording in the PR is not accurate.
In easiest to understand terms, when MMR is integrated with a certified EHR, the EHR feeds MMR with data that is accessible by the customer/patient.
MMR does not feed the EHR, does not create a CCD, and maybe while it could because it may have discrete data from the EHR, why would you want it to when the data in the EHR is more up to date.
A CCD becomes "stale" 1 minute after its stored.
