Perhaps Capstone should start thinking smaller with huge volume.

When the natural gas industry grows up, its going to realize that they don't need the power industries transmission and distribution system. They have a better distribution system-the gas pipeline into your house. All the natural gas industry needs is a gizmo in the basement of your house to convert the natural gas to electricity. I have no doubt that within the next 12 to 24 months there is going to be a technological breakthrough.

I see no reason that gizmo can't be a Capstone Turbine if it is insulated properly for noise reduction. Generac is already the #1 seller of whole house standby units but as far as I know they are not pushing a 24/7 unit. Their units can be converted to natural gas or LP gas but still have oil and filter maintenance requirements.
