Chief, nobody saw this protracted recession/depression coming. Then the EURO's ongoing crisises made a longer recession drag on with Tight Credit. China depended on Europe sales, & then we kept falling back in 2010, slid backwards in 2011, backslid again in 2012 all thanks to the EURO, etc., et al. Remember that many economists rate this recession as MORE severe than even the 1929 Depression in many ways. When I look at their honor & integrity, it's still upstanding behavior elsewhere, EXCEPT COMPLIANCE. But 1,000's worldwide are fudging SOX/compliance & filings too in America as well. We see that as a system cheating scoundrel & broken promise, but they see it as survival, relying on Forward Statements without any legal Form 15 note. WHY? Undeserved & unearned Short's attacks do make China companies hesitate when even honest; as many Short's attacks hurt suppliers, China preciously held Guanxi pride, revs, customers, employee relations, community trust(they get harassed, & more)for bringing shame, when they did nothing to deserve it, etc., etc., you get the picture. It can be severe & undeserved. Worldwide -it's same.
Couple that with Audit Wars (Read Paul Gillis), revs behind uncollected caused by Tight Credit red comrades pulling the rug out from under the banks dealing with inflation vs. GNP back & forth Regs/controls, regime change, China PE & dark money lending, etc., as well as many accounting/SOX/language/culture differences caused by MicroCap superfast ramping up to USA standards of expectation, when they only use guanxi "networking" agreements instead of upfront contracts per SEC/PCAOB protocols; & I could ramble on further forever; corruption which should be expected in emerging economies, et al. Bottom line is WAIT. SHUT IT OFF, & accept it on AUTO from here out like I do, & go R&R vacation. They're struggling, NOT scheming. OK, you say...If they're so wealthy with millions, why don't they file with compliance? All the reasons above, & similarly why you wouldn't sell anything in a down market either, as their waiting for recovery of markets timing the business. If you say they've purposely disappeared, I know that's just not true, as I could prove 1,000's of reasons why & show & tell to elaborate convincing you. Patience is hell when down in recession/depressions, but Chief just put it up on the shelf & give the economy time to recover, & share my view it's just tough times & they'll be back. Pawning helps no one. Time heals too. China's hyper dog-eat-dog crowded competition dictates you expand NOW or die in oblivion as a business. They are forced in ways you'll never understand. If they don't show up by world recovery of markets, we'll school 'em. But trust me it's not all corruption, it's constraints we don't understand 7,000-10,000 miles away, so I'll give them a couple years benefit of the doubt. When you read & follow them as close as I do you actually see there righteous behavior, struggles, & can identify their solid integrity. Patience my friend. 2015? who cares if it's 20,000% gains, NOT 20%! And what's the alternative? These China listings all only started in 2007 or so. That's only 6 recessional years ago still in the trough as now. Buffett holds 5-10! Nobody saw it coming. Their MicroCap Start-Ups! Let it ride on autopilot, & shut off the data. Become a beachcomber bum mariner on 'No News No Shoes Island' like all us reef vagabundos & go native!
