Says who you? CEO's give guidance to the investment community all the time. Quarterly benchmarks and deliverables are expected if one is going to give a CEO any sort of investment capital
Yeah I said it, CEO's of Apple and Google might give guidance to the investment community all the time because they aren't doing a discretionary buyback
Do you think Wall Street analysts wait until management is "ready" to give guidance? The share price is a proxy for management's ability to deliver on this guidance. It should be qualified and quantifiable so investors can appropriately diversify risk.
Go play with the big boys then and stop wasting your time in pennyland.
