None! Seriously, NONE. The chart is my main guru plus what I see in actual trends as opposed to the nay sayers who are not economically motivated but politically motivated. It's more of what actually is happening instead of what we think SHOULD happen. 6 months ago I was jumping on Real Estate stocks. Everybody said I was crazy. Duh. Look at the performance! How did I know? Relatively low prices plus the lowest rates in history = REBOUND! I read articles on how the billionaires and hedge funds were snatching up houses like crazy. Buying up all the defaults and so quick that even though Joe Sixpack has more to spend, he can't get to the bargains before the deep pockets do. There are stunning properties in Vegas bought for 2-3 million and are on the market for 600K. I've seen some of them. Gorgeous stuff. Even in the burbs east of L.A. very affordable houses getting bought up within days of hitting the market. These heavy hitters didn't get to where they are by being wrong so I started buying RE stocks and funds a while back. On the other hand, auto makers have been going wild with sales. This flies in the face of all the bunk about how half the country is on welfare, etc. That's why I don't fall for that shit. I walk in town and all the restaurants are full. I fly on a plane, all the seats are full. I go to the mall. It's packed. Is that the sign of things not going well?? I'm not shocked at all by the DOW being where it is. All this is to point out that 99% of the talking heads have other motivations than giving us good investment tips. I used to follow Sinclair when I was stupider. He'd say buy, buy, buy and then gold would tank 30%. After a few rounds of that, I showed his ass the door. Jim Cramer? A lying sack of shit. The list just goes on and on.
