How could anyone look at the track record,sales growth, dilution, etc. and actually want to invest their money in this stock?

Hence the word "newbie". Most don't know how to track dilution, they don't know all of the important things to look at. They just see movement upward or listen to the praises of a friend, jump in head first and don't see the big rock at the bottom. Cheerleaders mask the truth and treat them like they are the best thing that happened to the stock, a slap on the proverbial azz and the "Welcome to the next millionaires club!" red carpet is rolled out. It's an incredible thing to see....most often happens in hindsight though. They get mad at those who show them the downside. Again, the dream is much more fun to believe!

Even if WNBD actually did pick up a big block store it wouldn't make any difference because it still wouldn't be near enough to keep up with expenses.

Exactly. They have dug the hole far too deep for anything like that to help right now. IMO
