Well why would you open a retail store in a high traffic area rather than a no traffic area. Why does a business man carry business cards. Tons of other examples... The point is exposing your products to more people increases your chance of recognition and purchase. Minute Maid sells a lot more lemonade than the kid on the corner selling his lemonade and probably cheaper!! One dollar a glass who does Timmy think he is? It's concentrate Minute Made!!!!
