I PREFER REALITY TO FALSE INNUENDO
This data is riddled with misconceptions and taken completely out of context. In many cases it in fact supports my point.
If it was a simple matter of shredding JBI could not use it. The permit states that JBI is required to use non-recyclable plastic.
Once again back to finding a unicorn.
The feedstock that JBI needs is the same as recyclable plastic.
JBI must take non-recyclable plastic and process it just like the recycle industry does.
The recycle industry makes it work because they are subsidized to do it.
JBI must do the same as the recycle industry, hence they have the same challenges and costs yet none of the subsidy benefits.
JBI must then add additional cost to P2O the plastic which takes it further away from a profitability level AND do it all to make a product that has a value LOWER than the recycle plastic value.
