In case you're wonder what they are looking at in the video on the logs I'll explain. The left side is Gamma ray which will tell you the formation. They see the soft formation meaning the sands which they hope contain the fluids/gas.The right side shows the resistivity. Oil and gas have a high resistivity compared to water. So a soft sand with a high resistivity = what you want. The triple combo logs taken from Weatherford i believe it was who did it are the gamma-resistivity- and porosity/density. The porosity/ density comes from a nuclear source tool and tells what the fluid is water or oil or even gas and how porous it is.
