I must have been hungry! Everyone knows what a Philly Cheese Steak sandwich is.

I had one of my lucid dreams a couple nights ago about cooking one.

In the dream I was in a giant cafeteria with a huge professional grill. Do it yourself style. Two heavy iron spatulas to toss the ingredients. I have never made one and have no clue where that one came from.

There was a large bowl of thin sliced beef on the left. Also four pots of stuff on the back warmer. Onion, green pepper, etc. in some kind of broth with slotted ladles.

On the right hand side was a big pile of cheese slices. Real soft, like Velveeta, and some crusty hoagie buns.

It was very vivid and I have been able to revisit it several times with minor variations.
