Blame Pres Obama/his admin if that makes you feel better, but years of no/little banking regs under the Bush admin created the monster banks we have today. Watching JMP execs' testify at the Senate committee yesterday regarding $$$ lost in their London "whale trade" it was evident the big guys still take big risks, still mislead their investors, and still mislead the gov't - actions that should land their top execs in jail, yet JPM's CEO Jamie Dimon was not even asked to appear at yesterday's hearing.
