I just received some sad news...

I just got this email from the showroom manager that reps our candles:

I wanted to reach out to each of you and let you know what is going on in our San Antonio/Austin territory. Kim has been diagnosed with breast cancer and will be having a double mastecomy next week. She will be then be undergoing chemo and radiation. Kim would like to keep her position with us but of course she will be out quite a bit. We are going to work with her and see how things go as far as sales. We understand the sensitivity to both her and each of your sales. We will make a decision and ensure we do what we can in this territory so that it doesn't hurt any of us. I just wanted to keep everyone in the loop. We wish Kim all the best and are sending prayers her way. Thanks for your understanding and cooperation. If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to call.

I just could not beleive this news. Kim is only 43 years old and such a great person and a very hard working. I hate she now has to battle breast cancer. People on this board can say what they want about this company. I could care less. Breast cancer is real and takes the lives of many women. It is the number 2 killer of women in the world. I invested in SNDY because they do have the technology to detect breast cancer in it's very early stage with the Mammoview. Once this equipment gets in clinic, hospitals and doctors offices and women know that it can detect breast cancer 4-6 years before a mammogram women will be requesting to have this screeing done with the Mammoview. If I had to drive my wife or daughter 200 miles to get the screening done with someone who has a Mammoview in their clinic I would. The pain, suffering and self confidence these women go thru is real and is very hard on them. So please let me invest my money the way I want without telling me I made a bad choice. If I can help make a difference in someones life, to me that is all that matters.

Take care my friends,
Mikes
