Had fun in Palm Springs.

I had driven on the outskirts of PS, but never actually went into the town. Comes off as a secluded, warm playland for celebrities and the wealthy.

Lots of golf courses, always 10-20 degrees warmer than anywhere else in the country (easily in the 90's yesterday). Some very upper-end clubs, restaurants, and hotels.

The car auction was slick. Had all kinds of cars, including some types I had never heard of. Kaisers? There was one Mustang I liked and one Mercedes, but both went for way more than they should have. Around 300 cars on auction.

Spent the day there and then went to a friend's hotel (they actually call it an "estate" not a hotel -- it was more like a grownup playland, hard to even describe) that he runs. Had lunch at hotel and David Arquette was there. A shame Courtney Cox wasn't with him!

Then we went shopping at the outlet mall on the way back. Fricken 300 stores, I believe. I'm a tightwad, so I only bought two shirts. :)

Jessica Alba last weekend, Arquette this weekend....just call me Mr. Hollywood. ;)
