The patent that is public record can be accessed via Google. Search on “US 20130006722” and follow the Google/patent link. From looking at the drawings, a person might consider the amount of hard work and thought that is required to develop a quality complex product. Another interesting statement from the press release dated January 14, 2013 is “The current design of the Moto-Meter represents over 3 years in post prototype development and includes modifications and enhancements that were suggested during its successful street trials. The most significant change to the Moto-Meter from the device used in the trials is the addition of a dot matrix LED display in place of a segmented display.” AND “that it is proceeding to initial manufacture of the Moto-Meter”.
