If there was some sort of merger or acquisition in the works, I don't expect that GDGI would be the one doing the acquiring. They have nothing to gain by acquiring another company. GDGI is pretty much at rock bottom, any company they could afford to acquire would likely be even worse off and have nothing of value to GDGI. They need a larger customer base, and that isn't the way to do it.

More likely, in my opinion, there is a much higher chance there is another company seeking to buyout GDGI. Interested in them for their client base, but primarily their patents.

But like you said, it is mostly base-less hype and wild speculation. I think we are doing great here moving forward without any type of acquisition or merger. I believe we'll hear something this week, next Monday at the latest.
