Exact quantities are irrelevant Paul.

The point of the run was to determine how much mercury MBS could remove from stack gasses in a real world condition. Measurements were taken before the application of MBS, and after the application of MBS, and the amount of mercury after application was found to be only 2% of the original quantity (or 98% less for those mathematically challenged).

There is NO further insight to be gained by knowing the exact quantities involved. Whether there was 100 mg/ft^3 in the stack or whether there was 1000mg/ft^3 in the stack.... the quantity AFTER application of MBS will be 2% (or again, 98% less) of that before application.

This is horrifyingly simple.

I have a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering. Is the report as thorough as I would have made it? No. Are the results detailed enough to tell me what happened in the experiment? Absolutely. MBS removes 98% of mercury from the flue gas. I get it.
