TARO - I think I know the big shoe

Generic companies are entering a survival of the fittest stage. Consolidation is coming as Insuranse & HMO's will force them to to compete on price. Margins will be razor thin.

I thought the major shoe was resposible for the drop from the 30's to around 20. Entered it todays for a trade as I expect institutional holders will try to walk it up, I hope. Certainly no bounce evident in today's trading. Another plus is the 30 million shares outstanding as I think the volume selling could dry up quickly. Followed closely I hope with bottom fishing that will chase the price up for a nice bounce. The 30 million O/S will also make it easier for the institutionals to walk it up. Upgrades based on the 5 year low TARO is now sitting are expected.

One thing for sure is that the Generic Companies are not a buy and hold.
