As far as I know, you are totally correct. It would be public information if an entity owned 5% or greater. And yes, Epic has just enough shares to prevent a hostile take-over. And maybe my thinking is scewed....but...

And as the price dropped, did you notice that Epic sold then bought back lower increasing their share count, again protecting Elite? Hey, I WISH I had twice the share count that I have now
(which I would have if I bought at .07 instead of .13!).

Capitalism is a hungry, ugly beast. I would not be surprised if 4.5% shares are owned by several agents of a big pharma.
