So, now that the topic of using UNWASHED, UNSORTED PLASTIC has been ANNIHILATED...

Let's get back to the new topic - HOW DO YOU KNOW IF JBI CAN TURN A PROFIT

BUT,

From the DEC Permit it seems that there is a more significant issue-

Page 8:

JBI will carefully review potential sources of non-recyclable grade plastic for use as a raw material feedstock.

Now it makes perfect sense why fuel production has been so minimal... They have such a limited amount of plastic that they can use and then they have to find a way to sort it, then be sure that there is no possibility of contaminates that will cause detrimental chemical reactions.

How on earth can they possibly do this legit much less fake it and not break the permit???

Just the front end sorting and decontaminating cost will outweigh the plastic/fuel value... plus IF you could get waste plastic out of the waste stream to comply with the permit it will break the permit BECAUSE IT WILL THEM BECOME RECYCLABLE PLASTIC!

wow, laughable... its a catch 22
The permit essentially renders the P2O process useless, non-function-able, no way to process recyclable plastic and no way to process waste plastic... !
