I noticed that the otcshortreport.com reported percentage of volume shorted being way up on the day before the big run (from 25 to 60 percent)

On March 5th it went from 36% the day before to 51%

I would think short volume going up would mean a pending move down but it seems to be the opposite of that

Any insight would be appreciated!!
