FWIW, Mark Bartlett on Silicon Investor had this to say yesterday about the strange action on the s/p:

[...] What bugs me is there was a poster on SH about 3 weeks ago that posted emphatically that ORT would be moved to 1.50/share within the next few weeks. He made no bones about it. If that is not ammunition for the regulators, I don't know what is. When the stock was repriced at 1.90 after the "fat finger" ... it was no accident that 1.90 was chosen as it keeps it below the marginable value.

This is mercenary Bay street whores at their worst. And they wonder why people are not putting money into their self-direct RSPs. But the worst part - it stifles new technology development so that some paper pushers can make a few bucks in the short term.

Also -- Anyone who believes that this was not done to coincide with PDAC is dreaming.
