yeah I bought a few HD AUG $70 puts last week between $68-$69, was hoping it wouldn't go above $70, but I got till August for this trade to play out, at the very least I should be able to break even if I want to get out

here's a good market analysis, back at the market peak in 2007, earnings were 20% higher than where they were now on a valuation basis, so the bulls are saying there's more room to run, bears say that's a bad sign about earnings going forward...

I agree with the bears...sure the market is at/near all time highs, but how are the fundamentals? I know back in 2007 the global economy was a lot stronger, especially in Europe and China, so given that Europe is in a recession and China is slowing because of Europe, I'm not sure how much more upside the market has...
