Wal-Mart advances Empowered Products' ascension into the
major US national chains with its initial sales order

On 31 December 2012, EMPO issued the following Progress Report to its shareholders:

With the 2012 calendar year now complete, Empowered Products' CEO, Scott Fraser, has set the company's expansion agenda to focus on the ongoing increase of sales and shelf space in US National Chains. As consumer trends for PINK® and Gun-Oil® sexual wellness lubricants have shifted toward mainstream retail, Empowered Products has maintained a major investment in forward inventories in order to fulfill this continued influx of sales to more customers from Walgreens, CVS and Target. We expect to add more household name retailers to our US National Chain list in early 2013.

Scott Fraser addressed his fellow EMPO shareholders, "Over the last 18 months, our company has produced escalating growth in several key facets of our business model including Asian and European wholesale and direct-consumer sales. Moreover, our fastest area of growth with the most potential to quickly multiply the size of Empowered Products is the sales pace of our PINK® and Gun-Oil® lines with mainstream retailers across the United States."

Today, Empowered Products (EMPO) is elated to report that its expansion strategy within the US retail chain sector has achieved another national sales channel with its new, initial order from Wal-Mart Stores, Inc. (WMT: NYSE). Empowered has now received its first order from Wal-Mart via an initial shipment comprised of both lines of the company's water-based lubricants – GunOil® H2O and PINK® Water – across 39 of Wal-Mart's U.S. distributions centers.

Scott Fraser, president and CEO of Empowered Products, commented, "This is another major milestone in our company's ascension into the national-chain sales venues. When we started selling our sexual wellness products, over a decade ago, our brand lines were only available in traditional adult shopping outlets. Now that worldwide retail power Wal-Mart has joined the other major retailers to offer our lines, like Walgreens and CVS, our move to the national consumer mainstream continues to advance."

Over the next several quarters, Empowered Products (EMPO) intends to continue to focus its expansion efforts on the major US national chains both by increasing its current sales relationships with retail giants such as Walgreens, Wal-Mart, and CVS – and by going after new sales channels with other household name retailers. Empowered's management team believes this new sales relationship with Wal-Mart (the world's largest retailer with 10,000 retail outlets in 27 countries) will serve as a significant factor in boosting the company's overall market profile within the high-growth sexual wellness sector.
