Actually this lil one must be due some news, huh? Last year they posted financials on Nov 19th. Plus I can say after a year of watching closely NW over Illini big in Champagne Saturday. O btw that Dem candiddate in Ill 14th district running vs Hastert is a good man. LH he deserves your support. Hispanic surname cant rember but really a fighting dem.

Got a link:

Democratic Candidate for the 14th District Ruben Zamora dropped by tonight's DuPage DFALink/Meetup to announce a campaign fundraiser and separately a Greater Aurora Peace & Justice event. We gave him a speaking slot and Ruben delivered an impromptu and impassioned speech/Q&A session about topics ranging from the Iraq War and what to do now that American troops are there, to the need for Democrats to offer a positive message with plans about what we're going to do differently in office. His talk also included a commitment to universal healthcare, better education and better and more jobs.

Zamora was well received by the group which included Democratic State Senate Candidate for the 28th District Terrell Barnes and Democratic State House Candidate for the 45th District Rob Bisceglie. Both Barnes and Bisceglie gave a speech to the group, asking for their support, and both were also well received. Terrell Barnes emphasized the need for the next State Senator of the 28th District to connect better with voters and listen to their concerns. He cited his opponent's support of imminent domain for private use and the prevention of labeling of adult material video games as examples of where State Senator John Milner was out of touch with voters. Rob Bisceglie focused on his commitment to healthcare, education and putting families first in the 45th District. DuPage DFALink is planning to assist them with gathering petitions in November 12th and 13th.

Now about those fried fish. Ruben Zamora's fundraiser is at Mark's Place (215 W. State St, Sycamore) on Friday, November 11th from 7 to 9 PM. $25 gets you all-you-can-eat fish fry (+ regular menu) - more than $25 gets you the fish fry, the regular menu and the satisfaction of helping Ruben's campaign out that much more. Entertainment is Clyde's Open Stage (aka an open mike). Tickets are limited - call Leland at 630.618.0694 to reserve your spot now.
