You already know what I mean by "the thinker". It is the "I", the ego created by thought.....which is not the same at all as responses to stimuli. We have to create a language that we can use to illustrate the difference....ego-centrict thought has it's own nature and is not to be confused with awareness. If we can do that, than the idea of a "soul" becomes impossible.
