I'd rank Fracking technology higher on the list then Obama's presidency as the primary reason the US economy is "recovering" (such as the recovery is). Though Obama deserves credit for allowing Fracking to continue. Absent development of our own oil & NG fields energy costs would be skyrocketing. The best paying jobs "created" in the economy have been in the new oil and NG fields. These jobs were created by large oil exploration corporations the political punching bag for the political left....how ironic.
