Well, they did, I don't have it in front of me, but I remember reading the disclaimer " on conditions of environmental concerns" along with several other concerns, ie permits etc. I do not know Canadian law, but in the USA some mines predate enviro laws and continue to operate while new mining is band. Dilling samples isn't much of a impact. It is a very rich mineral area. Along with wild life, and the all important H20.
