Here's a slide presentation (a bit dated but still useful) that not only discusses DNA marking but indicates by Federal Supply Groups relative threats for counterfeit parts throughout the DLA acquisition efforts. As you will see:

The “Top 5” high risk Federal Supply Groups (those with the highest number of incidents - page 8) are:

1. Electrical and Electronic Equipment Components (FSG 59)
2. Engine Accessories (FSG 29)
3. Pipe, Tubing, Hose, and Fittings (FSG 47)
4. Hardware and Abrasives (FSG 53)
5. Vehicular Equipment Components (FSG 25)

My guess is that when we start to see expansion of DNA use it will follow by particular FSC within each of these Groups. I also believe that implementation within each of the other groups will be, by comparison, easier than what we've experienced to date.
